How do I play?

Each day you get two concepts — a start and an end. Your goal is to build a chain between them by browsing related topics on the dial and locking in your picks. Each locked topic becomes your new position. Keep going until you reach the end concept. The fewer steps in your chain, the better your score.

How is my score calculated?

Your score is the number of topics you lock in to complete the chain. The start and end don't count — only the steps in between.

Can I replay a puzzle?

Free players can replay the current day's puzzle once. With The Ladder Pro, you get unlimited replays so you can keep trying for a shorter chain.

What is The Ladder Pro?

The Ladder Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks:

• Unlimited replays of today's puzzle
• Skip to random puzzles any time
• Play past puzzles from History

How do I restore my purchase?

Open The Ladder, go to the info screen, and tap "Restore Purchases" at the bottom. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

The app isn't loading puzzles.

Make sure you have an active internet connection. The Ladder needs to fetch puzzle data each day. If the problem persists, try force-quitting and reopening the app.
