The Ladder is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No names, email addresses, or account information
• No location data
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No third-party analytics SDKs
• No advertising identifiers

Anonymous Device Token

The Ladder generates a random, anonymous device token stored locally in your device's Keychain. This token is used solely to validate puzzle submissions and cannot be used to identify you. It never leaves your device except as an opaque identifier when submitting a puzzle result.

Network Requests

The app makes network requests to fetch puzzle data and topic information. These requests do not include any personal data. The anonymous device token described above may be included to validate submissions.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information.

Data Storage

All game data (your history, scores, and settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts or cloud sync services.

Children's Privacy

The Ladder does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Since we do not collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly, so please review this page periodically.
