PrescripTime is designed with your privacy in mind. We believe your health information should stay on your device and under your control.
Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data.
All information you enter into PrescripTime—including medication names, dosages, schedules, and dose history—is stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any servers.
Data Storage
Your data is stored locally using Apple's secure on-device storage. This means:
- Your medication data is protected by your device's security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
- Data is automatically included in your iCloud or local device backups if you have backups enabled
- Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all your data
Third-Party Services
PrescripTime uses the following third-party services:
- Apple StoreKit: To process in-app purchases. Apple handles all payment information; we never see your payment details.
- Apple Push Notification Service: To deliver medication reminders. Notification content is generated locally on your device.
Analytics
We do not use any analytics or tracking services. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or any other telemetry.
Children's Privacy
PrescripTime does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is intended for use by adults or under adult supervision.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties because we do not have access to your data in the first place.
Your Rights
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it:
- Access: All your data is visible within the app
- Deletion: Delete individual medications or uninstall the app to remove all data
- Portability: Your data is included in your device backups

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
